FAQs
Curezin® is a broad-spectrum, multi-site contact fungicide and bactericide containing copper sulfate pentahydrate (FRAC Group M01) and phosphorous acid (FRAC Group P07). It also provides nutritional zinc. The formulation acts on multiple metabolic sites of fungal and bacterial pathogens, disrupting microbial propagation and early infection events while supporting natural plant defenses.
Curezin® is a fully soluble liquid formulation of copper, phosphorous acid and nutritional zinc, developed using VM Agritech’s patented Cyncore technology. This process maximizes solubility. Enhancing nutrient uptake and uniform coverage. The result is a clean, stable liquid that mixes easily, runs through any system without clogging, and leaves no visible residue.
Curezin® integrates easily into existing programs. It can be applied as a rotational or tank-mix partner for resistance management, or as a replacement for other contact fungicides in standard programs. It fits seamlessly into both conventional and nutrient-focused programs, delivering disease control and essential micronutrients in one pass.
Always conduct a jar test before large-scale mixing, especially when using hard water or unfamiliar adjuvants. Curezin® has a pH around 1.0 and can be a convenient pH reducer. Curezin® mixes well with most pesticides, fertilizers, biostimulants, and crop protection products. Do not tank mix with other copper fungicides, calcium compounds, acids stronger than phosphorous acid, or aluminum-based products (e.g., fosetyl-Al).
Do not adjust the pH of a Curezin® application above 5.0.
Curezin® is not rainfast on its own. VM Agritech constantly evaluates sticker-spreader adjuvants and maintains a list that have shown satisfactory performance. In general, a combination of a non-ionic surfactant with a paraffin and/or lecithin / phosphatidylcholine maximizes Curezin®’s longevity. Contact your supplier or VM Agritech representative for the current list of compatible adjuvants. Always conduct a jar test before large-scale mixing unfamiliar adjuvants.
Curezin® can be applied by any conventional spray, irrigation, and other application technologies through ground, aerial, and chemigation systems. Consult the EPA label for materials of construction compatibilities, specific carrier volumes, droplet sizes, and spray drift management requirements for each method.
The REI is 48 hours for all agricultural uses. For greenhouse uses, REI may be reduced to 24 hours.
